The Blue Jays play 15 home spring games at TD Ballpark, 373 Douglas Ave., Dunedin, from Friday, Feb. 19, 2027 (Yankees) to Sunday, March 21 (Phillies). All start at 1:07 p.m. The park is about 6.3 road miles from Pier 60, roughly 15 minutes without traffic. Single-game tickets weren't on sale as of October 2026. The catch: MLB's labor deal expires Dec. 1, 2026, so book refundable.
Key takeaways
- The team's printable schedule lists every 2027 home game at 1:07 p.m. MLB's data feed still had the times as TBD in October 2026.
- The Phillies are also home in Clearwater on 6 of the 15 dates, and the teams meet five times (three in Clearwater, two in Dunedin).
- TD Ballpark sells no parking. In 2026 a free park-and-ride trolley ran from downtown Dunedin lots. Unlike the Phillies, the Jays had no beach pickup that we found.
- 2027 full-spring season seats run $417 to $871 per seat, covering every home game. There's no single-game on-sale date yet.
- MLB's labor deal with the players runs out Dec. 1, 2026. In 2022, MLB's records show nine Blue Jays home spring dates cancelled before play resumed after the lockout (a 10th was later rained out).
Could a lockout delay Blue Jays spring training in 2027?
Yes. MLB.com reports that the league's collective bargaining agreement with the players' union expires on Dec. 1, 2026; the two sides first met on May 12, 2026. Without a new deal, owners can lock the players out, and spring training waits until it ends. By late September 2026, MLB Trade Rumors was already referring to a "looming lockout" in its offseason coverage.
It happened last time. The previous deal ran out in December 2021, the lockout lasted 99 days, and the new agreement came on March 10, 2022, after MLB had pushed spring games back to March 12 at the earliest. MLB's data lists nine Blue Jays home spring dates that year as cancelled before play resumed (a 10th, March 24, was rained out). Toronto's first game was March 18, and TD Ballpark hosted eight games, starting March 20.
No new agreement had been announced. The 2027 schedule below is MLB's published schedule and is subject to change. What to book refundably: beach rooms you can cancel without penalty until at least January, and flights you can change. If you can only come for part of the spring, lean toward the late-March home dates (March 17, 19 and 21). In 2022, only games from March 18 on were played. Our update plan: we'll re-check this page after Dec. 1, 2026 and again when single-game tickets go on sale.
What is the 2027 Blue Jays home schedule at TD Ballpark?
Fifteen dates, from MLB's official schedule data, with start times from the Blue Jays' printable schedule (as of Sept. 4, 2026; opponents and dates subject to change). The last column shows what the Phillies are doing that day.
| Date (2027) | Day | Opponent at TD Ballpark | First pitch | Phillies that day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Feb. 19 | Fri | New York Yankees | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Tigers, Lakeland) |
| Feb. 22 | Mon | Pittsburgh Pirates | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Twins, Fort Myers) |
| Feb. 23 | Tue | Baltimore Orioles | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Red Sox, Fort Myers) |
| Feb. 26 | Fri | Detroit Tigers | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Yankees, Tampa) |
| Feb. 27 | Sat | New York Yankees | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Twins |
| March 1 | Mon | Pittsburgh Pirates | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Orioles, Sarasota) |
| March 3 | Wed | Tampa Bay Rays | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Yankees |
| March 5 | Fri | Detroit Tigers | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Pirates |
| March 9 | Tue | Minnesota Twins | 1:07 p.m. | Away (at Rays, Port Charlotte) |
| March 11 | Thu | Pittsburgh Pirates | 1:07 p.m. | Off |
| March 13 | Sat | Philadelphia Phillies | 1:07 p.m. | Playing here |
| March 14 | Sun | Boston Red Sox | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Braves (split squad) |
| March 17 | Wed | Detroit Tigers | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Orioles |
| March 19 | Fri | Atlanta Braves | 1:07 p.m. | Home vs. Rays |
| March 21 | Sun | Philadelphia Phillies | 1:07 p.m. | Playing here (Jays home finale) |
Feb. 19 and March 13 are split-squad days: part of the Jays roster plays at home while another group is on the road (at the Pirates in Bradenton, then the Tigers in Lakeland). The roster is split between two games those days. The Tigers and Pirates visit three times each, the Yankees and Phillies twice.
Three road games are also within reach: at the Yankees' George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa (March 2 and 12) and at the Rays at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg (March 20). Each is about 22 road miles from Pier 60, roughly 40 minutes without traffic.
Which days are the Phillies and Blue Jays both at home?
We lined up both teams' 2027 schedules day by day for the 32 days from Feb. 19 to March 22. On 25 of them there's a game at one of the two Pinellas parks, which sit about 6 road miles apart.
| What's on | Days | Dates (2027) | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Both teams home, separate games | 6 | Feb. 27 (Yankees at TD; Twins at BayCare), March 3 (Rays; Yankees), March 5 (Tigers; Pirates), March 14 (Red Sox; Braves), March 17 (Tigers; Orioles), March 19 (Braves; Rays) | Two games 6 miles apart, but the Jays start at 1:07 p.m. and the Phillies started most 2026 home games at 1:05 p.m., so plan on one, not both. |
| Blue Jays vs. Phillies | 5 | Feb. 20, March 6, March 16 at BayCare Ballpark; March 13, March 21 at TD Ballpark | The local rivalry. Jays fans can see three of these at Clearwater's ballpark, 7.5 road miles from Pier 60. |
| Only the Blue Jays home | 7 | Feb. 19, 22, 23, 26; March 1, 9, 11 | All weekdays, and all in the first three weeks (the last is March 11). |
| Only the Phillies home | 7 | Feb. 21, 24, 25; March 8, 10, 12, 22 | The Jays are on the road or off. See our Phillies spring training guide for those games. |
| Neither team home | 7 | Feb. 28; March 2, 4, 7, 15, 18, 20 | Beach days, or follow the Jays to Tampa (March 2) or St. Petersburg (March 20). |
Only have a week? March 13 to 19 gives you four Jays home games plus the Jays at the Phillies in Clearwater on March 16. No seven-day stretch has more (March 11 to 17 ties it). It's also spring break season; our spring break guide covers what that does to the island.
We pulled both teams' 2027 spring schedules from the MLB Stats API, MLB's official data feed, on October 4, 2026, and re-pulled it on October 5 with no changes: 30 games for Toronto, 31 for Philadelphia, all listed as scheduled, with start times still to be decided. We kept every TD Ballpark game and classified each date from Feb. 19 to March 22 by where each team plays. We then checked all 15 home dates, plus the road dates, against the Blue Jays' printable spring schedule (a PDF calendar dated Sept. 4, 2026), which matched and supplied the 1:07 p.m. start times. The 2026 start times and 2022 cancellations come from the same feed. Road distances and free-flow drive times are from OpenStreetMap-based routing (OSRM) and are estimates; real game-day traffic will be slower.
When do 2027 tickets go on sale, and what do they cost?
Not for single games yet. As of early October 2026, the Blue Jays' 2027 spring training ticket pages offered only season-seat memberships, with no single-game on-sale date. Those memberships cover the same seat at every home game, and renewals are open for current members:
| Seating category | 2027 full spring, per seat | Per home game (15 games, our math) |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Box | $871 | about $58 |
| Infield Box | $701 | about $47 |
| 200 Level Premium | $663 | about $44 |
| 200 Level Infield | $612 | about $41 |
| Lower Reserved | $497 | about $33 |
| Outfield Reserved | $417 | about $28 |
Those prices are from the team's 2027 seating PDF, as of October 2026. Single-game prices will be different and weren't posted. For tickets, the team lists 1-888-525-JAYS (1-888-525-5297) and 727-733-0429. Children under 3 get in free on an adult's lap; everyone else needs a ticket. Tickets are mobile; the team points fans to the MLB Ballpark app, or the Ticketmaster app for Ticketmaster orders.
If the lockout worries you, buy from the team. Its 2027 season-ticket terms promise a credit or refund for cancelled home games that aren't made up. Anyone who bought through a resale site has to ask that seller.
How do you get from Clearwater Beach to TD Ballpark?
Most people drive or take a rideshare. By OpenStreetMap routing it's about 6.3 miles from Pier 60: over the Memorial Causeway, north on Myrtle Avenue, then up Douglas Avenue into Dunedin, about 15 minutes with no traffic. On game days, allow 30 to 45 minutes to your seat (our estimate).
| Option | How it works | Time and cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Drive and park | Park in a private lot near the ballpark, or at a free park-and-ride lot downtown and take the shuttle (2026 service) | About 15 min without traffic; parking prices are set by each lot | Families with gear, groups of three or more |
| Uber or Lyft | Drop-off is on Beltrees Street; rideshares aren't allowed in the main lot | Similar to driving, plus a wait after the game; check the app for fares | Couples, and anyone drinking |
| Jolley Trolley Coastal route | Board at the Clearwater Beach Transit Center, ride to the Main Street stop in downtown Dunedin, then walk south down Douglas Avenue | About 30 min on the trolley plus a walk of roughly a mile (our map estimate); $2.25 each way | Budget travelers with time |
| Clearwater Ferry | Beach Marina to the Dunedin Marina, then about a mile's walk (our map estimate) | Thursday to Sunday, February through Labor Day; adult fares are $6 (Red Line) and $9 (Blue Line) one way, already including the $1 increase of Sept. 17, 2026 | A slow, scenic day with dinner in Dunedin (more day trips from Clearwater Beach) |
Coastal trolleys leave the beach Transit Center at 35 past each hour from 9:35 a.m. and reach Dunedin's Main Street stop about 30 minutes later. Southbound trolleys stop there at 50 past and reach the Transit Center at 14 past. Cash riders need exact change. Our Clearwater Beach without a car guide covers the trolley's tap-to-pay fare cap and the ferry schedule.
One gap: in 2026 the Jolley Trolley sold a pre-booked round trip from Pier 60 to Phillies games, but its Blue Jays page describes only the free shuttle inside Dunedin.
Where do you park at TD Ballpark?
Not at the ballpark. The Blue Jays' TD Ballpark guide says no parking is sold on site, and that local businesses, community centers and churches around the stadium sell spaces starting at 9 a.m. Neither the team nor the city posts those prices, and we couldn't verify them. For comparison, the Phillies' BayCare Ballpark lots were $15 in advance and $20 on game day in 2026, the rates still posted in October 2026.
In 2026 the cheapest option cost nothing. The City of Dunedin, PSTA and the Jolley Trolley ran a "Park Free, Ride Free" service for every 2026 spring game:
- Lots: the Monroe Street Garage in downtown Dunedin (trolley stop at Scotland Street and Douglas Avenue), and a lot at Mease Hospital with its entrance at Virginia Street and New York Avenue.
- Frequency: every 15 minutes, from 90 minutes before first pitch until an hour after the game.
- Fare: free with a game-day ticket. You can board at any stop on the shuttle route.
The 2027 version hadn't been announced as of October 2026. Also in 2026, streets near the ballpark were signed for resident-permit parking only on game days, so don't count on the side streets.
Can you watch workouts at the Player Development Complex?
In 2026, yes, for a few days. The Blue Jays train at the Player Development Complex, 3031 Garrison Rd., Dunedin, a 65-acre, 115,000-square-foot facility about 3.4 road miles from TD Ballpark. MLB.com's 2026 spring FAQ said the complex was open to fans daily from Feb. 15 to 20, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a line forming from 9:30 a.m. Bags were checked under the ballpark's prohibited-items rules.
There was no public parking at the complex in 2026; fans were told to take a rideshare, cycle or walk. From Pier 60 it's about 9.9 road miles, roughly 20 minutes without traffic.
The 2027 dates weren't announced as of October 2026. In 2026, pitchers and catchers reported Feb. 11 and the full squad on Feb. 16, before a Feb. 21 opener. With the 2027 opener two days earlier, we'd expect a mid-February window (our estimate). Confirm on bluejays.com before booking flights around it.
What can you bring into TD Ballpark?
These rules from the Blue Jays' A-Z guide are the ones most likely to trip up beachgoers:
- Bags: the team discourages them. Soft bags no larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches are allowed and inspected; backpacks and hard coolers aren't.
- Drinks and food: one sealed or empty plastic bottle of 20 ounces or less per person, no frozen bottles, no outside food unless it's medically needed.
- Beach gear stays in the car: umbrellas, folding chairs and stools, beach balls and inflatables are all banned.
- Timing: gates open 90 minutes before first pitch (two hours for season ticket members). There's no re-entry.
- Payment: cards are encouraged, and there's an ATM on the main concourse behind home plate.
What does a Dunedin game day from the beach look like?
With the scheduled 1:07 p.m. start:
- Morning: beach time, then the 10:35 or 11:35 a.m. Coastal trolley, or leave by car around noon.
- About 11:35 a.m.: gates open.
- After the game: eat in downtown Dunedin, up Douglas Avenue; see our Dunedin restaurant picks.
- Evening: sunset. It's around 6:25 p.m. in late February and about 7:40 p.m. once clocks change on March 14, per our Clearwater Beach sunset times.

Start with our guide for international visitors, read up on tolls and rental cars before you drive, and find sports bars that show NHL games for nights away from the ballpark.
Schedules come from MLB's Stats API, checked against the Blue Jays' printable schedule page. Ballpark rules, parking policy and prices come from the Blue Jays' TD Ballpark pages and 2027 ticket documents; park-and-ride details from the Jolley Trolley and the City of Dunedin; ferry fares and route from PSTA and the ferry operator; workouts and labor history from MLB.com. Distances come from OpenStreetMap-based routing, and game-day times are labeled as estimates. We didn't attend games or time any trips ourselves. We're an independent guide, and the Blue Jays, the trolley operator and the businesses named here don't pay us.
Frequently asked questions
When does Blue Jays spring training start in 2027?
Games start Friday, Feb. 19, 2027, when the Blue Jays host the Yankees at TD Ballpark at 1:07 p.m. while a split squad plays in Bradenton. Report dates for pitchers and catchers hadn't been announced as of October 2026. In 2026 they reported 10 days before the first game.
How far is TD Ballpark from Clearwater Beach?
About 6.3 road miles from Pier 60 by OpenStreetMap routing, via the Memorial Causeway, Myrtle Avenue and Douglas Avenue. That's around 15 minutes with no traffic. On game days, allow 30 to 45 minutes (our estimate).
Is there a shuttle from Clearwater Beach to Blue Jays games?
Not a direct one that we found. The 2026 Blue Jays shuttle was a free park-and-ride loop inside Dunedin. From the beach, take the Coastal route trolley to downtown Dunedin for $2.25.
Where do you park for Blue Jays spring training?
TD Ballpark sells no parking. Nearby businesses, community centers and churches sell spaces from 9 a.m., at prices they set. In 2026, free parking at the Monroe Street Garage and the Mease Hospital lot came with a free trolley to the ballpark for game-day ticket holders.
Can you see the Blue Jays and the Phillies on the same trip?
Yes. They meet five times (Feb. 20, March 6 and 16 in Clearwater; March 13 and 21 in Dunedin), and both are home on six other dates. The parks are about 6 road miles apart, but games start around the same time, so plan one a day.
What happens to tickets if a lockout cancels games?
The Blue Jays' 2027 season-ticket terms promise a credit or refund for cancelled home games that aren't made up. Resale tickets are refunded through the reseller. Check the terms on any single-game tickets you buy.
